A letter from May 02, 2025

Dear FutureMe, Hey man. How are you doing. One year ago you got broken up with. That's where I'm at right now. I got a job though! I'm griding hard to make sure I keep it. Our dad always doomsday thinks and got me worried about maybe not keeping it. I hope you're doing ok. Better than me at least. How's Aidan? Is he done his script yet Hahaha. Do you still shoot photos as much as you used to? Are you close to moving out. Are you dating again? I guess right now I want to take thr time to say that I know whatever you're doing right now. I would be proud. And so will you be a year from now. Life sucks sometimes. But It gets better Oh and how is that new phone btw. I'm so hyped to buy a mi flip 2. Did it bang. Did the huzz love it. Jk Save more money though. These first two paycheques were out the second they came in Hahaha. Right now what's on my mind is the excitement for music. Please never stop creating. Never stop being corny or cringe. To be cringe is to be free. And to be in love is to be corny. Don't let anyone every talk you down for that. That's ********. Another thing I want to remind you. I my current moment of clarity. Is that people change. And learning that is hard. Hell one year from now. We will be different. The same person but further down our path. Our ex going down a path you don't like and changing post breakup. It hurts me a lot right now. But also that's her choice. That's the power she has. And isn't it kinda beautiful that we can change? Im so glad we aren't fixed cause one year ago I was miserable and kinda sucked lmao. But now I suck less. In fact I'd say I don't suck that bad at all. Don't let someone outside of your life control you. And don't let them dictate your emotions or your life. You are you. Everyone else is everyone else. The only person who knows me. Is you. And the only person who knows you. Is yourself. I love you lots. Time heals all wounds. If you could go back in time to me right now. What advice would you give? What would you tell me? I regret things but I realize we do what we can with what we have. Don't judge people for their past. Just their actions right now. And always reserve it because you don't know someone's story.
