A letter from Mar 20, 2025

Dear FutureMe, Happy Birthday! You’re 22 now! What an age to be! Feel like just yesterday I turned 21, for me at least hahaha And although my 21st didn’t happen in the most ideal circumstances - Being dragged to India with Amma and celebrating with grandparents and chitti- I do hope that this year is a bit more to your liking. Know that even if you haven’t been wished by all your friends, they still care deeply for you. You are and will always be an incomparable to them. You are to me. Incomparable, outstanding, caring, diligent, intelligent and not to mention so beautiful. You are and will continue to grow into a wonderful adult who accomplishes fantastical things. I know you are capable of that much. Today is a day for celebration so I hope you set aside time for that. Go out with friends, maybe with family. Eat some cake, take some time to unwind and enjoy while you are still allowed to. And be a little selfish, it is your day after all.
