A letter from May 01, 2025

Dear Me, Happy Birthday! Wow. we're really old now aren't we? 18, holy ****. I bet you're really excited and really scared right now, you can feel the pressure piling up. That or you're in the mindset I have every couple of days; "I don't really care lol, yolo." Either way, I'm so proud of you! WE ARE ALMOST THERE!!!!!!!! I'm writing this to avoid studying for my exams, so I hope you've overcome that awful habit. I don't know what to say, I feel like if I inquire about things and I still don't have them, it'd completely ruin my mood, so... hmm. I guess I'll talk about myself, right now I'm in two campaigns, are you still in them? One is the cyberpunk thing with Liam, and the other is the one with the crew and Beshoy as DM. I am very wrapped up in the latter, but the other hasn't picked up yet. I'm doing great in school, mostly, you remember Mrs. Viernes, right? So yeah, you get it. Also ALEKS (cursed math program) is kicking my ***, but Mr. Ansah is pretty chill. I'm pretty ok now, scared of the exams, but that's mostly normal. I have tons of friends now, I feel so happy when they wave at me in the halls and run up and give me hugs. Some even walk with me to class and bother to text me after school, for the first time, I feel like I'm there. Like, my whole life isn't just at school, but my friends exist outside of it as well. I know I said I didn't want to ask about what we have, but I want to ask one thing. Did it ever end? Earlier this year, you might remember, I gave up on ever having a boyfriend in high school. I have crushes, but I have stopped deluding myself; I'm fine either way. I'm glad for my friends. But I want you to have that feeling one day, if it hasn't already happened, please try again. It can't just be in books for us. Well, I can't leave us on that note, jeez. Uhm. Something I am really into right now is handplates (again) and obviously The Magnus Archives. Honestly, I don't think I'd get tired of either of them, so I bet you at least still know them off the top of your head, so I won't bore you. Oh! I have some baby names I don't want you to forget, so listen up! Ok, so Edelweiss (duh, I don't care if no one else likes it), Evangeline, and Dean. Do you still want 5 kids? Even I think it's crazy, but I can't really shake the hope of it. And finally, let's remind ourselves of some of my current fav songs, Alter Ego by Doeiichi, Let Down by Radiohead, and Hopes and Dreams by Toby Fox. Okay, I don't have anything else to write. Bye.
