π· A Letter from Your Future Self π·
Dear Yassmin,
I know today you feel lonely and sad β like you're sitting with a heart that's a little heavier than your chest can carry.
But I promise you, soon you will feel whole and content, the kind of peace that isn't loud but steady... like the quiet hum of the sea at Maghrib time.
You will wake up one morning, maybe just after Fajr, when the house is still and the sky is just starting to blush with light, and you will realize that Allah had the most perfect plan written for you all along.
It will feel so gentle β no fireworks, no sudden rush β just a soft, undeniable knowing in your heart.
And you will smile, not because everything is perfect, but because everything is exactly as it should be.
You will have more than you ever dared to ask for: love that feels safe, work that feels meaningful, health that feels vibrant, and family gathered around you like a warm blanket.
You will look back at these heavy days β the ones where you cried quietly in prayer, where you posted your reels even when you doubted yourself, where you took risks even though fear whispered in your ear β
and you will finally understand:
Allah was preparing every detail.
Every small heartbreak, every lonely evening, every act of patience you offered β it all stitched together the life youβre living now.
You will be so proud of yourself for not giving up.
For staying consistent even when nobody clapped for you yet.
For changing jobs when it felt safer to stay.
For choosing prayer over panic.
For taking care of your health, not just your body, but your heart and soul too.
I pray that you always remember:
Allah has always had your back β not just in the big miracles, but in the tiny, invisible ways you don't even see yet.
That family will always be your real fortune.
That prayer will always save you β again and again β like a secret door you can always slip into no matter what.
And I pray you never forget:
To pray without rushing.
To walk back to Allah even when you don't know the words.
To believe in good things, even after dark days.
With so much love, so much admiration,
Your future self π€
