A letter from Apr 11, 2025

Dear FutureMe, The days preceeding your 27th birthday were chaotic. You dreaded the day, so much. Why? You are now closer to 30 than you've ever been. And the pressure that comes with 30? Phew! But the age didn't bother you as much as this lack of fulfillment within. I mean, I know we say everyone is going through one or two but these?! These seems like an 100. Because how many people your age are single with no prospects, earn 40k as a graduate, have a certification in a soft skill they feel they're not competent in? To make matters worse your best friend - who you totally love btw and prayed for during her dark times got a job of 150k per month asides other incentives. And now will rent an apartment with your other friend who also earns 100k per month both younger than you by 3&1 year. You started feeling little. But you encourage your self and made sure it not jealousy. Its just helping you to want better. But this whole situation is affecting you at work. In fact, your direct boss- Mr. AJAYI noticed and called the attention of others to your lack of concentration and disinterest at work. But you hope to get off this job, because you're now bored and the money is too discouraging. And what's worse? You also are worried for your sister who wants a child and/or a husband or both, to find happiness. And your brother lost his job and got a child on the way. And you want to embark on projects and boost your portfolio. And you hope to find God's son soon(time no dey). But all these notwithstanding, you endeavored to have a happy birthday indeed, you danced like David danced for the first few hours of the day even though you were at work. You praised and worshipped in the early hours of the day and made it a no request, just praise day. And today, 11th you got an email for a meeting with the hr of a remote job you interviewed for earlier in the month. I hope and pray that by the time you get this message, you have reasons to be more grateful. You have one or both of career/finance and relationship figured out. Your sister got her wishes and prayers answered and is happy. Your brother got a good job and happy home. Your other siblings and parents are happy too. Love you always.
