Dear FutureMe,
I'm about to crash from exhaustion, but I wanted to remind you, that you just spent 5 days in the hospital with double pneumonia. My hand is wrapped in a bandage from enough IV antibiotics it was frightening. I thought it was convention-crud, but apparently it went a little longer than it should have.
Because my mobility is limited, I clearly ran out of spoons and pushed myself a bit too far. Still, apparently 5 days of bed rest seems to have helped my back. Not sure what's going on but I have a lot of PT in my future. Frightened because I think mom may be coming down with the same thing.
I met the most amazing community members are pagan pride this year. I love each and every one of them. Even the ones I don't like. There was a lot of fear about politics this year, and I was reminded of the thousands of allies. It was the first year I was able to wear my pride colors and come out. I felt loved and embraced. It's a feeling I cannot begin to expound upon much more.
Right now I'm feeling so tired. I just got out of the hospital today. I think I saw a vision of my next art work in a half dream.
I have missed, and loved so many friends. Don't forget that future me.
Also wear a mask, bring hand sanitizer, and only eat your own food (though I doubt those cheese tots were the cause of this sick mess).
I finally get to sleep in my own bed. I feel more whole somehow.
