Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hey! So 2025 started as the worst year of our lives. Not that you need any reminding, but we lost Abel in January, Pam in February, and Dad had surgery in March which was scary at first. Joshua had those issues with his job, I wonder if he's working somewhere else in 2026. Not to dwell on it, because we've had enough, but here are some things I hope worked out for us, from me now to you in the future. I hope we live somewhere else. I hope we bought a house we love or at least like enough to grow with and make our own. I hope Joshua is happy with his job and doing something he's passionate about. I hope Dad is doing well and happy and I hope that our new house has space to keep him close by. I hope that Saige has a baby or will have that baby soon! I'm excited to be an aunt to her little one and I hope that's happening. I hope you and Joshua finally eloped, instead of just planning to elope, but even if you didn't do it just yet, remember that you're partners for life and it'll happen when it's meant to. I hope you're settled in our career too. We've got to work on our Master's soon, but no rush! It'll happen when it happens and when you can dedicate the time to it, but by the time you read this, you'll be a published author and I'm so proud of us for getting that done! Remember to thank Phoebe again in 2026 when you get this, because her having our back after Abel died means the world. I hope a lot of things for us. Be patient, be kind to yourself, and remember we're going to do whatever we want, whenever we want, because we can. It might not always seem like it, but I love you, and if 2025 is gonna suck so bad, then that means 2026 is going to be awesome. Okay love ya much! Be good to yourself Love, 2025 crash out Melissa
