Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I'm writing this at 3:35 am, sitting on Nana's couch. I was inspired by the song, "Bennie And The Jets" by Elton John. My sleep schedule is so messed up, and I have school on Wednesday. I've really enjoyed my spring break, it was nice and chill. I've reflected on some things, for one, I like a guy named Henry. Remember him? He did call me a monkey, but I swear he has changed. He really likes basketball, which I started trying to watch. It's a pretty entertaining sport. Samira thinks I should tell him I like him today, because it's April Fools' Day. I'm probably not, but it's not a bad idea. Another thing, I really hate school. I recently had that revelation, I mean, it is definitely necessary, but I don't prefer it. If that makes sense. It just is so boring. Even the friends aren't worth it, now don't get me wrong, I love my friends, but I can always text. Plus, in real life, I usually just nod along or stay quiet. I wouldn't mind doing online school, to be honest. Maybe it's the fact I can't stop procrastinating. I should probably talk about something more interesting. My best friends are Nyla and Naseerah, and close contenders are Alani and Samira. I feel a distance between me and Nyla, maybe it's just the 4,000 miles. hehe. Was that a pun? I hope so, FutureMe, please don't cringe. I'm watching a show called Brooklyn Nine-Nine, it's good, but after Amy and Jake got together, I became a little uninterested. As you know, I love Superstore and I started writing a fanfic for it! I only have like 3 hits from ao3, but it is something! Additionally, I've become relatively fond of Grey's Anatomy. I used to hate it, but I like it! Seasons 1-8 were the best, I must say! You know Danny Gonzalez? I mean, of course you do! I like his commentary, he is like shifting to becoming my comfort YouTuber. He is sooooo funny, I must say! Mom just told me we have 15 minutes till we have to start getting ready. I've unintentionally pulled an all-nighter. I'll use those minutes trying to wrap this letter up, I know I'm rambling. But it's like journaling to someone who knows me so well, and that's you! We're moving back to Georgia, but I don't want to move back. I like the foundation I've built in Hawai'i, I have great friends, a nice school, and it's a peaceful atmosphere. Maybe I'll like Georgia better now that I have been away from it. I don't know what people usually say in these, but I will say, I LOVE KACI! Kaci is one of my teachers, and she is literally the best out there. I guess that's what I gotta say. Hopefully I'll live to see this, IYKYK. Sincerely, Maryam C.
