Dear FutureMe,
Dear Future Me, I'm scared. I wish I could look into the future and hug you. looking back on our previous letters, we have lost so much light. We let ourselves get boggled down by the shackles of adulthood; scared to be a kid but equally as frightened to be an adult. Know you are privileged but also know you are loved. I know we were hyper focused on a boyfriend, but I know if you needed one you would have one. Create a goal. Let's fulfill our plans of rewarding our parents and loved ones. Talk to grandma more, life is short you never know when it might end. on that note, reach out to your friends; They were your place of safety when you felt hurt and overwhelmed. do not take for granted the love other people provide you and do not get lost in the hate others will show you. I hope we are safe now, I know it's not guaranteed but I hope you are doing amazing in college, secure an internship, start a research paper, and STUDY for the LSAT. i know we can succeed and attain a spot in the Harvard law program, so go out and secure it. I know we will do amazing things but first get off your phone, it's the only thing stopping us from reaching the best version of ourselves. To end this long letter , know I love you and go out and do amazing things.
