Dear FutureMe,
2024 me warned me to get proper sleep. What a blast from the past*! Thank you, 2024 me. Well, good news, I rarely get sleep paralyses now. Bad news, my sleep schedule is so fcked.
(*A blast from the past (humorous idiom) something or someone that surprises you because you had almost forgotten about it.)
My sister has been going on a few long business trips lately, so I was all by myself. With no one to discipline me when I stay up, I don't sleep until 3AM (or even later) on most days. My eyebags are black and swollen, I can't sleep at night, and a lot of the times, I feel super exhausted physically.
So, dear 2026 me, I hope you've done better. After all, your yearly resolution was to have a healthier sleep schedule. Plus, health seems to be the only thing stopping us from achieving all our goals.
