A letter from Mar 13, 2025

Dear FutureMe, I'm trying to better myself, getting my license, then I’m planning on getting a big girl job. I have a long way to go still but I’m working on becoming as independent as possible. Some things I need to work on are budgeting and making more of a complete grocery list, cooking on the stove or in the oven; being proactive still is also a good idea. As we speak I’m living in an independent supported living group home, and it’s almost Saint Patrick’s Weekend! I’m so excited about my plans this weekend, I’m going to have a blast! Another matter of my life soon will be a court appointed special advocate (CASA). Just to explain a little more about what this position would entail; I'd be an advocate for kids that are in foster care. I’m also a volunteer for the Rolla Public School district like I started on last Thursday and finally received my credentials today. Looking forward to seeing how much progress I made..❤️
