Dear Future Me,
Today as I write this letter , I am overwhelmed with university studies. A year from now, I'll probably look back at this moment and think about how much I've changed. But who knows, maybe I'll still be the same as I am today, with many dreams and plans to realize.
I imagine that you are living my long-awaited Erasmus experience in Slovenia . I hope you are having an incredible time, learning not only the language, but also a lot about the culture, yourself and the people you will meet. Who knows, maybe you've made new friends who will accompany you for a lifetime. I'm curious to know if Slovenia has truly stolen your heart, as it promises to do for everyone who visit.
This summer, on the other hand, Greece and New York will just be the beginning of a long list of places to visit! I hope you've had the time to relax, explore new places, and enjoy every moment, feeling the excitement of the travels you've always dreamed of. And who knows, maybe you've even found a special place that will make you want to return every year. I also hope I've passed all the exams in the various sessions, because, right now, I'm working very hard.
And then , there's that little hope I carry inside: the soulmate. I wonder if, a year from now, you will have found someone special, someone to share laughter, dreams and unique moments with.
In any case, dear future, I hope you are happy. I hope you are doing something you're passionate about, taking care of yourself, and, no matter what challenges you've faced, I hope you've learned to walk with confidence. Never forget to be kind to yourself, forgive yourself, and keep growing, day by day.
I write this with the hope that everything will go well, and that you will smile thinking about the me of today!
With love,
Emma Favero.
