A letter from Feb 20, 2025

Dear FutureMe, I don't know how far we'll have gone, or not, how the journey getting to where we are was like, but I hope that somehow, somewhere, the story has written itself from a chapter of tragedy to a chapter of more hopeful adventure and challenge. Sure, things will be harder, things we've tried to avoid we will have to come f2f with, and the list of trials and tribulations will never truly end. But I think, compared to the mentality as of 11th February 2025, I truly hope, that the journey will have taken a turn for the better. No longer feel like the smiles are masks you are undeserving of wearing, and see the hope and possibilities even despite the downward spiral the world is in right now.
