A letter from Feb 26, 2025

A bad day - Every once in a while there comes a bad day, a day so bad that it makes you question if there is someone behind it all, orchestrating one failure after another so spectacularly in order to.. what? To punish you, maybe, for all the wrongdoings and mistakes you committed during your life, or perhaps to test you, to trial how much you can really withstand, to answer some question about your potential or how to continue your story arc. Maybe its to teach you a lesson, so that this one bad day will become nothing in comparison to some grand catastrophe which will be prevented by you learning a key lesson now. Or maybe its just to humble you, to teach you that life is unexpected and cruel and to make you appreciate the good things in life more. The alternative, which is that all the things that happened to you happened purely by chance and are just part of life's vast chaos, with no order or meaning to it whatsoever is far scarier. This thought does not want to be entertained or built upon. This thought I steer away from and leave sitting alone at the back of my mind.
