A letter from Feb 22, 2025

Dear FutureMe, If you’re reading this right now you’ll probably be half way done with your second school year in Valencia Spain. Right now you sitting in a hostel dorm in Amster*** Netherlands with a friend you met almost 2 years ago in a hostel in Toronto. Crazy how life works huh! You just finished reading the future me you received about your dating life. And well, it didn’t go as planned but it did give you a good chuckle! Life has changed so much in the past year! This time last year you hadn’t even applied to Spain and here you are in your spontaneous nature exploring the world. This past year has taught you so much and it’s increíble to feel and see how much you’ve changed! You’re no longer worried about relationships or focused on them in the unhealthy way you use to be, (which is okay, you didn’t know de-centering men was a possibility). Sure would it be nice to find your complement? Of course, but there is so much more to life, don’t forget that! You’re realizing what you want in friendships, learning how to love yourself and the people in your life. You are becoming the woman you always wanted to be and that never thought you could be. Life isn’t perfect, you’re still working on figuring out how to get that bachelors, but I truly believe you will figure out your path in due time. I hope you can look back at this next year and feel inspired, and even further into the life that you want. You deserve it it all and more. I love you. ❤️
