Time Travelling — over 1 year

Peaceful right?

Dear Eli, I hope you're happy now. Seriously. I hope you stopped talking to them and kept talking to her. I hope that even if it didn't turn out how I think it will, you're happy. That's all that matters to me. I'll try for me but also for you. I'm 15 right now and I just gave myself a mullet and so far, I'm happy. I'm trying not to care about what other people think as much but it's all so confusing. I just wish I could get some sort of "hey yeah we're good now and life is better" but of course time doesn't work like that and neither does life. I hope you keep writing or baking and that you never lost hope or whimsy. Live for yourself and for me. I'll never get to know how you turned out, I'm just in the past but you get to see how we changed and grew. I'm so very proud of you for making it this far. Life sucks but live to spite life. Find happiness in the small things and never give up. I've done a few of these and each time, my goals and self worth and all of that have been different but I think thats the beauty of it. I'm not the same person I was then and they don't know how I've changed because now it's me. Idk if that makes anysense but I hope you have an amazing senior year and that you've met Charles by now. Also, happy 17th (and golden) birthday you old, old, man. Love, young Eli (the cool one)
