Dear FutureMe,
you just moved to Berlin after breaking up with your Ex after 3 years of a relationship.
You just moved into your first own apartment at 21, had got your first semester behind your back in computer science and you really did your best while going through moving, learning and also the depression you were fighting. You also dipped the guardrail with your AMG on the highway the day before moving to Berlin as you had microsleep and luckily you survived.
You are really ambitious right now, trying out social media for yourself to see where it leads you in the wish of actually finding your 'purpose' again and finally not being disappointed about yourself over and over again as your life feels like an endless limbo of toxic thoughts and you in the end feeling sad as you still don't know where you are going in your life. You have troubles finding new friends, however actually the 'finding' part isn't the hard one as you're a really social guy who always is friendly towards anyone, but you have an insanely hard time setting boundaries as you just didn't learn it in your childhood.
Currently, you are really envisioning into creating something. You have been reading a lot, thinking about yourself and you understood that it's about time to let your old self go and become a new, more grown up version of yourself where you learn to set healthy boundaries and not constantly lie to yourself and need affirmation from the outside like, you just did with that one girl you were getting to know over online dating. For the first time you actually managed to set boundaries and ended that 'getting to know phase' which felt like a big accomplishment to you. In order to cope you left your apartment at 1 AM, took a quick run and sat down by the water just to process some of those emotions. You really are fighting yourself through all of this, and I am sure you will be able to tell your story to your children later on how you actually changed your life to the better.
The future looks really foggy, unknown and even scary right now and you don't know whether life will actually do it's thing but deep down you want to believe things will get better.
You are in the greatest shape of your life as you have been dieting for 4 months, constantly hitting the gym since 3 years.
Let's see how things have changed in a year.
