Hello, older Shemika! How have you been? It's been a year since you wrote this letter and I just want to check up on you. This afternoon has been an emotional rollercoaster just right before you had to serve for the English Mass. I hope you know that you are not alone. God is always with you and He is always guiding you through every trial and tribulation. Hopefully, you've found peace and clarity in your mind and that you're much happier than you are today. I learnt a good lesson today: Fr. Eric was making a multitude of mistakes during the 1st reading and homily, but, do his mistakes lead to him quitting as a priest? No. Just as you make mistakes in your life, it does not mean you should quit. You should strive or aim to become better than those mistakes. And don't let anyone tell you or make you feel that you are unlovable. I love you, God loves you, and there are more people out there who love you for who you are. Stay strong, Mika. I love you always.
