Dear FutureMe, I hope you’re doing well and found some peace in your heart & new life in Italy. I’m sure that you’ve aced all your exams and ready to start the 2nd year with great mindset and all the new opportunities and achievements waiting for you ahead. By this time, I’m sure that you’ve bought everything you were hoping for to fully settle down, made tons of friends with whom you can discuss about hardships and struggles, strengthened your bond with Kamila, reached some of your goals that you set for yourself a couple of months ago, gained wisdom/knowledge and found inspiration for what you’re going to do in the future. I was struggling with homesickness, uncertainty, anxiety and depression once I got here so I anticipate that you’ve already somehow managed to figure out how to handle stuff like these even if they didn’t fully disappear yet (it’s almost impossible nowadays, let’s look at it realistically). I also hope that now you’re staying in contact with the relatives more often, advising the little ones, caring about their well-being more and interacting with them from time to time. So all I’m gonna say right now is…keep thriving, keep working and exploring. Don’t ever lose hold of your own beliefs and values: don’t disappoint your parents; work towards making them financially secure (don’t forget about yourself too); don’t forget about your house and the village you grew up in, your grandma’s warmth and food you’ve always been receiving ever since you were born; keep praying for the best; be grateful to Allah (peace be upon him), parents, your surroundings and everything that has happened in your life and think of them as past moments to make you a stronger person you are today. Have a great day or night and stay safe! Always…
