A letter from Feb 05, 2025

Dear FutureMe, Did you ever end up landing an internship for Summer of 2025? If not, it's okay. Do you feel better about yourself than you do right now? I know it is hard right now, but trust that it will get better. I know this with the certainty that I know the sky is blue, and that the sun will shine. This is an overwhelming time for you right now. Surround yourself with people you love, and communicate. I am so excited to see you grow. You have already come so far - last year you would be proud. Your mindset is finally changing. Despite the setbacks you have faced, you are not bowing down. Did you ever tell anyone else about Summer 2024? If not, it can be our little secret. However, if you did - I am proud of you. Only you know how unbelievably hard that time period was for you. For you to tell someone that must mean you trust them immensely, and you have faith that they won't see you any differently. I know how funny that must sound to you one year down the line - but, trust me, 2024 and 2025 me wouldn't see it that way. That was a matter of life or ***** for her - she remembers how immensely embarassed she was of herself. For the person you told - stay friends with them forever. You got this. I am so proud of you.
