A letter from Feb 01, 2025

Dear FutureMe, Hi, girl! We’ve had a long 2 years since we lost Grandmom and the world turned upside down. This January has been 89 days. But girl, I’m so proud of us! We live ve our brain, we love ourself, and we are growing psychologically in leaps and bounds. I don’t know where we are right now, but I want you to know this: We are worthy of space, time, safety and love. We are creative, compassionate, and genuinely kind. I hope we are using our strengths in our job and our relationships. I’d love for you to be able to send a letter back. Here at s what I would say to us from a few years ago: movement will help everything; self-advocacy will feel weird at first, but others will come around; you are so brave; you are so gifted at putting together the best care team; find the glimmers; and lastly, I know it’s hard, but try to begin to give us some grace.
