A letter from January 31st, 2025

Dear FutureMe, Are we still alive? I guess if you're reading this, it means we survived. that's all we do is survive, when are you going to start living? Right now I'm content with surviving but are you? Did we finally find our little spark of happiness? Are you still having doubts about your relationship. Your 7 year relationship? I guess if he was the one, we wouldn't be having doubts would we? Are you still worried about marriage and children? Are we really cut out for it? You may be engaged but it's okay to still back out. Choose your happiness for once. Did we finally graduate from college? What's your plans now? Still want to help people when you can't even help yourself? This isn't a note of anger, it's a note of concern. Tough love one would say. Did we finally get that surgery or are you still living life in pain?How's therapy doing? Are we finally out?What's your goals now? How's the dysfunctional family doing? Are we more in debt? More in pain? Start living. Have fun. Enjoy life. The little things in life is what makes you happy. Remember that and stop being selfish.
