A letter from Jan 18, 2025

Dear FutureMe, I hope you are struggling a little less. I hope you managed to finish school, or at least managed to get closer to the goal. I hope you trust in yourself a bit more. I hope you found the happiness you were looking for. That kind of happiness that you find every day, not just when you're aiming towards a specific goal. I hope you found someone to make you good company. Someone that makes you laugh, that makes you feel supported, that understands you to the best of their ability, and that loves you even in your worst moments. I hope you have learned to love a bit better, without the mess, the doubts, and with all the might you have in you. I hope your family is ok, healthy and safe. I hope you just continue to grow as much as you've wanted to. I hope you haven't given up, that you're still driven by love and that can better understand that life is much more than what they say it is. And finally, I hope you don't hope as much. Hope is a spark that can be turned off too quickly sometimes. Just live one day at the time, that really is the only certainty you've got.
