Dear FutureMe, Alright it's finally here, the big 18 the one-eight and the end of your childhood. Yea I know it sucks so I'm gonna just give you some reminders from old you to give you an idea of what YOU need to get done in the next few days. 1. I think we both know this, but any attractions to minors? Done, out of here, in the big 2025 the LAST thing you need to be doing is falling for anyone under 18, thats like reputation suicide. So uhm yea don't do that Now for the other stuff, this is more of a If or If not type of thing so just bear with me. Lets start with college IF and when you've been accepted into the big C (im sure this has probably been settled) KEEP APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS, many other people instantly stop applying once they get in or get a full-ride but why pass up some extra money? Oh and the second you walk on campus you should find a job that's on campus and works with your time. And I know this is going to sound annoying but yes, make a schedule, I know it's boring, but when you have so much to do you need to manage your time a lot better than you were a few months ago. IF NOT then first off, wow thats depressing, but life isn't over yet, just consider the next few months like a gap year, and oh yea KEEP APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS, you can probably still make money as long as you plan to apply the following year (like Spring 2026). Also, don't act like it's the end of the world, God has a plan, you just don't know it yet, keep going to church, keep praying, and keep reading your bible. Other than that you should probably go looking for a job, if you don't have one already just apply anywhere, all that talk about "Ew I don't want to work at a restaurant" throw it out the window, living off your parents is NOT what we are doing in the big '25, and don't just get a job to get a job, make a connection with the manager (hopefully they are nice/reasonable) or any other workers to find other opportunities for either money or just gaining experience in life. And make a schedule for everything so that you don't spend 3 hours scrolling on Insta then realize you have work tomorrow and wake up late. Next up! Social Life IF you have a GF, depending on what your status is with her, Hell yea! About time! Hopefully it's the same girl your took to the prom and if not then that doesn't really matter. But congrats! Not exactly sure what you should do in this situation because this is kind of uncharted territory, but read your bible because I'm sure it says something about it in there, consider advice from elders, and make sure that you stay loyal, although your not the type of person to cheat. Make sure you defend her but don't start any fights that you don't need to. Other than that just look to God I'm sure he has the answers to your questions about this. IF NOT then not too much has changed which isn't a problem, the opportunity will reveal itself soon but for right now just keep being yourself don't succumb to those crappy dating apps/websites it will not help your situation. And don't become desperate, cause thats the last thing you need to be. Getting a GF shouldn't be your main focus anyway, more like a side-quest. So yea just keep doing what your doing and don't lose hope, you'll find someone someday Next Up! Dreams/Hobbies I'm sure if you haven't already your probably itching to start your own youtube channel, so now that your on your own. Lets get to it! I sure you have the basics down, but were starting pretty fresh with this, I suggest you make multiple channels to test the waters, for example: Channel for Gaming (everyone is doing this so it will take a lot of hard work to stand out) You're going to need to make a LOT of different edits to capture audiences, I suggest that for now you don't reveal your voice (unless you somehow sound way better in the future) just for security purposes. For now the goal is 15k subscribers, which you can probably get easily if your get get at least 5 videos over 100k views, which is going to take some effort, I suggest just copying styles from certain youtubers depending on the video game. Like if you want to make a roblox channel of some sort then maybe copy styles like Rueben Sim or ratskwewer. If your making Minecraft videos (oh boy thats gonna be hard) maybe try copying some of the Hermitcraft youtubers or make a hardcore world with some lore or something Channel for Yapping If you do like the way your voice sounds then try making something like this. Shouldn't be impossible to do, just find a topic to talk about, maybe do some research and a little scripting and find a decent camera and mic and you've got a channel! Might be hard to do depending on the living space (also I would suggest buying some sort of green screen) Channel for Streaming Now this one might be the hardest of all because streaming is no easy task, you would need 2 hours minimum of free time, a worked out schedule, and a plethora of games to play, first try to stand out from other streamers streaming the same game, whether that be through stream names or playstyle of game. One big problem with this though is that you would need a really beefy computer, which costs a bit and I am not sure if you have one so if you dont you should start looking. Try streaming on both youtube and Twitch to gain a larger audience and make sure you try to read both chats and not just one. Other than that streaming would probably be something to do in your free time when your really bored and don't have friends to hang out with, for past me this would be a last resort because of the difficulty but hey if you like it do well. I'm not exactly sure what else to include in the long email.
