A letter from Jan 16, 2025

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, Hey Josh! Its January 16, 2025 today while I'm writing this letter. I am writing this to make you remember what you've been through in the beginning of 2025. First is you never expected to be a college dropout this early. These week has been a long tiring week and overwhelming. You are scared because you do not where to start but one thing on your mind is that you need to keep moving on life. You feel pressured on what are you going to do, you are tired in thinking what will be the next step of what you are doing. However, you just keep on going and that is a great job. To be honest at day you're okay it seems like you accepted your fate already, but at night you still cry about figuring things out. You still wonder what you did wrong when you did everything just to survive your studies. It feels like all the efforts you've made, all the sacrifices are all in vain. You keep on saying you're okay when you're really not, how come you do not show people that you are weak? You're still smiling despite all the tragedies that you are facing, what a great pretender. You feel lost in the city, walking along roads you're not familiar just to get a job instead of just completely stopping, you keep moving forward that in a span of a week you were able to get hired at your first application at Inspiro. I'm proud of you!! Who would have thought that right? You are truly an amazing person. You may be clueless right now if this is the right choice, or maybe thinking that there is still a change for you to continue your studies. But one thing is for sure, you did everything you can, all your best just to make things better but maybe the universe is really leading us to another path. You wanted to cry so bad, but who's shoulder is there? None right? You just cry by yourself just like how it always used to be. Anyway, thank you for being strong even its just the beginning of the year but you are already challenged. Oh btw! you're birthday is also coming up next week, can you believe that you're not eighteen anymore? What are your plans? You should still celebrate and enjoy the moment its your day, go out and be happy forget everything for the meantime. You may be on your own for now but I know that you can do it! Goodluck future self! Also, don't forget to finish your college degree. You need to go back and continue what you started, go back to UST, you belong there. I know how badly you wanted to graduate from that university and get that CPA title on you name. Remember how hard it is to get in? Well you passed and finished first sem so go and continue second semester. I know you can do it, you're a fighter right? Last but not the least, don't be too harsh on yourself and make dedma sa negative peoples. You've come this far and I know you'll go more far from where you are now. I hope this message you will receive this message in the future, future Josh.
