Dear FutureMe,
I know this 2024 year was so hard and difficult, mostly with schooling and family issues with your biological parents.
Trust me I get it life is tough. I still remember the time you argue with your biological mother about you not having a job that was frustrating and yet depressing.
But look on the bright side, you made lots of new friends and buddies this year.
And maybe some people you shouldn’t have been friends with because you were too caring. You made growth and grew a lot.
Remember the time you met this new kid down your street named Hazel and she was shy to meet someone. Kinda like you when you met someone you didn’t know.
Now look, you guys are best friends and you are so satisfied doing that because if you haven't met her you would be alone and worried and she matters to you because she is sweet and smart.
It’s finally 2025 and I see myself in the future being an artist or a musician. But still I don’t know what I want to be exactly but I have time. In these times I see people rush in life and I never understand why they rush. I get it they want to achieve their dreams but why rush?
I could never be like those people but I do promise to achieve my goals. I know I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up but I wanna be a foster parent. I believe every kid around the world should have a place to call home.
A place where parents love them. Unlike me who never had a childhood. So I would like to change that.
So overall 2024 was so rough yet good in my experience. But I know 2025 and the future will be so much better. For our future people, for us, and mostly for me.
Sincerely, Haddasha
