A letter from Jan 08, 2025

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, i hope you haven't ****** yourself like you always said you would. i hope you saw the light of day, let the sun kiss your eyes, and you smiled because life is worth living. you smiled because of the flowers and puppies and beautiful dew drops on leaves, because of sunsets on beaches and cute little kittens rolling around. i hope you know that this darkness is hard to negotiate with, it always seems to take, but there is always a light. you will find it. i know. you always do, though you seem to lose it again. it's okay to lose it. life's like that sometimes. but you must always get up. you must. this life is worth living, and you know that you and me, that WE are worth something. don't give up for me, for you, for the world in which we have come to do something good. papa and mama have a difficult way of expressing their love, and sometimes it may seem like they don't love you at all. but you have friends that do care, i promise, i do. your parents just want you to succeed and i promise that YOU WILL. you will as you always have as you always do. it will all be worth it someday. maybe, when you get this letter, it will all have paid off already. you always say that the devil couldn't reach you, so he gave you the potential but not the passion. and today, now, i am going to change that. i hope you don't forget what i've started. i hope you don't forget what we can do. you are a smart girl, sara. you always will be. never forget your potential.
