A letter from Jan 08, 2025

Dear FutureMe, Today I just started school after my last winter break in highschool. I've pretty much decided that I'll be staying in town for cegep, even though I'd like to leave, but I'm going to be doing sciences nat so I'll eventually have to go to university and leave home. (I still don't actually know what I want to do with my life yet, so I'm just doing stuff to push away the time I'll have to choose). I know Oli is also staying in town for cegep so at least I'll have a friend at school for the next two years, while we suffer with all our biology classes and stuff. Anyways I'm writing this while I should be doing some physics homework (I really hate Josée, so I don't want to do her homework). I haven't found my prom dress yet but mom and I have picked a date when we'll go shopping for one, in hopes of finding one I like. I really wanted a green one but all the girls seem to have green dresses so I think I might go for pink, instead. I can't wait to have my driver's license, and a car, so that I can have some freedom. I'll be able to take my written test in June, which is in like 6 months!! I'm working at Walmart right now (I think I'll still be for a while, especially if I stay in town for cegep). The boss seems to think I'm working well and wants to upgrade me to GSC (even though I've barely been there two months), so that's motivating and will look good in my résumé. There's a guy at my work (you know who, I've always wanted to date a guy with that name (N______) and his last name starts with D. I haven't found him ANYWHERE online yet, so I'm so sad because I really want to talk to him, or at least shoot my shot, if he's single. Because he's really nice (well from when I've heard him talk with people and the slight conversations I've had with him (barely even a conversation, but whatever)). Also if he knew that I find him SO attractive I think it could motivate him to see if he could like me too (I don't know if it works like that because I've never actually had a boyfriend). Anyways, so I'm kind of obsessed with him, it's embarrassing. I failed another French exam, my first in the school year, but still frustrating I got 59%, like I was so freaking close to passing... My favorite artists right now are like Taylor, Lana, Gracie and Billie. The last book I read is We were liars, it made me sob so hard at the end, I can't even. I don't know what else to say right now so I'll just find a date to send this and it'll be that. Okay bye! I guess you'll be receiving more emails from me(you, us?) eventually. Also, fyi, I'm 16 right now. Okay that's all for real now, byee. (You should be receiving this around the time we start cegep). Also happy 1 month anniversary of being 17!!
