Hey Me!
Yesterday, on a whim, or not really on a whim (I mean you had been thinking about it for the last couple of weeks) you put in an application to the College of Southern Idaho to start in the Fall of 2025 (hence why this letter should get to you in August). The question is, did you make the move, did you take the leap or did you decide to play it safe and stay in Roberts with Mom and Dad for another year.
If you did take the leap. How does S feel about it? She said she was excited to move to TF so she could be closer to R but she's also 7 and you and her Dad aren't even a year out from your separation/divorce and quite frankly that is a lot for a little girl. I don't imagine O has noticed much of the undercurrent - she doesn't really make it known in her own unique way that she's missing being with her Dad daily, although I'm sure she does. If you took the leap are you scared ********? Because I'm scared ********.
If you decided to stay in Roberts, did you decide to apply for the medic program in Rexburg? Did you get in? What's the verdict? Are you volunteering with the Roberts Fire Department? Did you decide to do Fire alongside EMS?
Right now we're just trucking along, we're trying to figure out the next steps. Right now we're at the library printing out divorce paperwork trying to decide if we're making the worst decision of our life. K has already reached back out to A, so that feels like a pretty solid sign that we probably made the right call, but I can't be sure. You know how we are. We love to second guess ourselves. Anyway, that was a whole lot of rambling.
I hope this letter finds you well.
