A letter from Jan 05, 2025

Dear FutureMe, It is currently 2:46 am after your birthday. We are 18 years old. We got a haircut and currently waiting for us to go and get our nose pierced. We are friends with Christain and Ella. We have gotten close to Evan and his friends as time passed. Evan is currently 16 years old and with a girl named Desiree. They have been together for about 6 months. Kairi is no longer in our life as she once was back then. She doesn't pop in like how she used to but that's fine because she is still our sister and we love her. We did not become friends with Angel again, he's an *** but we did become friends with Johnathan again. We connected and its like we never stopped being friends. Mom and Dad are fine. Dad has a job right now and we are doing just fine. We are no longer with Antwan. We are single again but that's okay. We knew that we wouldn't have lasted. We knew from the start but we just ignored it because we thought that he would change. He did change but with change, he grew more mean and stubborn. He didn't care for us like how he did in the beginning. We both know why we broke up, I don't need to remind us again. By the time you read this, we will probably be with a different guy or have been with a different guy already and have forgotten all about him. He didn't do anything bad but he also didn't do anything good. He gave up on the relationship when it needed the most attention. When we broke up a lot of information about him came to the surface and we soon realized that he didn't care about us as much as we cared for him but it's fine because we are now over and done. Even though I know that we wanted it to be him so bad, at the end of the day it just couldn't be and that's something I hope we learn to accept as time goes by. Senior year is going well. We aren't passing at a high level like we used to but we are still passing and that's good. We have not hung out with Ella a lot recently. I don't know why. I think it's because we feel out of place with her and her new friends. We want to hang out with her but it just feels off and weird to drop in and just hang out with her. We hang out with Evan and his friend. We hang out during school and after school and even sometimes on weekends. They are great. They have grown so much from everything. We love them. Question time!! What are we doing right now in life? Are we in San Francisco living there? What college did we pick (It was between East Bay and San Francisco State)? Are we dating anyone? Is Ananda dating anyone? Is Evan dating anyone new? Are we still in contact with Ella or Christain? Are we still close to Evan and his friends? Are we living life? Have we been to any raves (legally) and how many? Did we get our nose pierced? Did we get our lips pierced? Did we get anything pierced?? Enough questions let's just talk. I hope we are doing good. We better have our license and at least one job under our belt. We are strong and can get through anything and everything but that does not mean that we need to be so hard on ourselves all the time. We need to listen to our own advice and learn to let ourselves feel everything that we need to feel to move on. We have gotten better about not dwelling on the past as much anymore but we have not gotten better about expressing our emotions in a healthy and understanding way. I hope by the time we are reading this we are mature and grown. Mentally and physically. We have gone through so much that whatever we experience this year or next year we can go through it and beat it all. Be you and don't let the thought of what others think scare you from doing the things you want to do.
