Dear FutureMe, Happy 28th birthday!! The last few years your birthdays havent been great. to remind you, 2023 was the worst and 2024 was still depressing because you were newly unemployed and just sad. I hope 28th birthday is better. i hope you genuinely do celebrate. find and do something for yourself on this day. you've fought a lot and especially with yourself to be here and its taken a lot of effort that deserves to be applauded regardless if it feels futile sometimes. Growing up with depression and anxiety and all your suicidal thoughts, I never thought I will get to such a big age. and you managed that, so you should be proud of yourself. i know you tend to be sad on your birthdays but I hope you find yourself surrounded by a lot of love this year just for a change. I hope the goals you have set for yourself also come to fruition. Good luck on the coming year! and happy birthday once again. I'm glad you're alive in this moment even if you sometimes feel differently. Love, 27 yr old you.
