Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, You have gone through the worst in December. Hot tears were shed. Finally, you had decided to leave the place of destruction. The Lord saw you through. Forgave you and gave you the strength to walk away. He has laid it in your heart to pursue the next step. The next step is Wharton Business School. Healthcare Management Core. It means you have to write GRE, make sense of your journey and where exactly you would like to work. You are convinced that he will do his part. You are not sure you can do yours. It seems daunting. You know you are not so good with numbers, analysis or abstract concepts. It terrifies you. But you have done terrifying things before. You know it has to be God because you didn’t have these dreams in the plane on your way to the USA. Right now, you are doing research. You have sent emails to current students. You are watching TikTok’s and YouTube videos on putting together a cohesive application. The current students and alumni are mostly white and are not international students. You think: “How do I work in the US healthcare when I am not a citizen? Is this feasible??” Right now, it is 5:43am. You have been awake since 3:20am after praying for about 30 mins. You have gone through the syllabus and watched some TikTok from a current student on personal finance. These students are Ivy League materials. How do you compete? You have sent an email and the song You Hold it All together by Mav City Music is playing. Before it, The Story I will Tell by Naomi and Mav City Music played as well. It is a cold January morning and you are trying to let your soul grasp that this is feasible because God is able to make a way. You think, “He writes my story. I will not fail because he is here holding it together.” You have selected your safe schools - BU Met, University of Michigan to study Health Informatics. This path is not easy as well. Now, you have to learn Python and put together a compelling application to convince them that an art student with no quant background can delve into EHR analysis. Thank God you worked in CedarCrest Hospitals in Abuja. That experience could come in handy right now. You plan on opening the GRE link today and getting started. The journey before you looks stressful and hard. This is why you have been praying for strength and for brain expansion to do numerical and quantitative studies. You are counting on the Holy Ghost to empower you for the journey ahead.
