Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hey, love. It’s me—you. Well, the version of you that’s been through some things but still standing strong. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on where we’ve been and share some hopes for where you are now. This journey hasn’t been easy, has it? We’ve had our highs that felt like we were on top of the world and lows that made us question if we could keep going. But through it all, the lessons have been the best part. Every challenge, every tear, every victory has shaped us into someone stronger, wiser, and more compassionate. Being a mom while working on our mental health has been one of the most trying yet rewarding experiences of our life. There were days when it felt impossible to juggle it all—nurturing a little life while trying to heal our own. But we did it. I hope you remember how much love and effort you poured into both your child and yourself. I hope you’ve come to see that prioritizing your well-being was never selfish; it was necessary. I hope that by now, you are secure in who you are, what you’ve become, and where you’re going. I hope you’ve embraced every part of yourself—the flaws, the strengths, and everything in between. I hope you’ve become the wife we always dreamed of being—loving, patient, supportive, and deeply cherished in return. More than anything, I hope you are filled with gratitude for the family you’ve created. They are your heart, your home, your everything. I hope you never feel incomplete because you’ve poured all the love you have into them, and in return, they’ve filled your life with joy, purpose, and belonging. Keep loving fiercely, laughing often, and giving yourself grace. You’ve come so far, and I’m proud of you. With all my love, Past You
