Dear FutureMe, Hello, happy 16th birthday! What’s it like? What’s it like being the big 16? What did you do for your sweet 16th? Future me, I have a few questions, so let’s go: 1. How is sophomore year so far? Is it more stressful than freshman year or less? 2. Did you go to a high school party yet? 3. Did you go to a high school dance yet? 4. Did you get an actual, like, job-job? 5. Did you start doing volunteer work or interning? 6. Did you go on a real vacation yet, like to a cruise or something fun like that? 7. Do you still go to Jessye Norman? 8. Do you still love acting and singing? 9. Have you finished watching *Arrow* or *The Bear* yet? (Probably never gonna happen, right?) 10. Did your friend group expand, or did it shrink (you know what I mean)? 11. Has your confidence started growing officially now? 12. Did you start painting more? 13. Did you go on your first date yet? 14. Is your favorite singer still Olivia Rodrigo? 15. Did you finally get to go to a concert yet—or at least a music festival? 16. Did you do a pre-college program? 17. Did you skip out on going to Grandma’s again this summer? 18. Did you finally get AirPods? 19.
