A letter from Dec 31, 2024

Dear FutureMe, 2024 went by so quick. Honestly, the beginning of high school wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. I joined the music club, and I've already made friends. I found out that I can also play the violin really well. Honestly, I shocked myself with that. Though now that I'm going into the new year in just a few hours, I have many things to say. I really hope that I can focus on school well, to stop procrastinating as much. And also, to not be so shy. I used to be even more shy, but chorus really got me out of my shell that I've been hiding in ever since the pandemic. Honestly, I'm proud of myself. I'm proud of you. I'm not sure what you're going through, what experiences you've had, but, I hope you're doing well. Don't feel discouraged. Trust in God's plan, and ask Him for help if you need it. He'll guide you---trust me. Going into the new years, I'm honestly scared. What will the new year hold? What will I experience? I haven't a clue. But all I know is that I trust in you to do well, to make your parents proud. And to at least begin not using your laptop so much. Every year will always be a wish for me to stop using my laptop so much. I'll keep saying it over and over again. But I really, really do hope that I can stop this addiction. Because girl you're actually SO insanely pretty. Like-- you're face card does NOT decline. IHGJFIKJGVFR OH YEAH-- I forgot to say, I'm currently 14 !! Jeez ykw, why not embarass myself and say the guys I've liked this year?-- WELP. HERE WE GO. So, I believe the first one was-- oh dear. that N dude we met on vrc. JEEZ. that man was- DIABOLICAL. had me thinkin' I had a future with him like dangg-- But lowkey, I'm happy that Cherry, Jex, and Nyx defended me, and got me away from that guy. He was getting close to me WAYYYY too quick and it just- wasn't- nope. Also, he asked for my number too, like-- I WAS UNCOMFY BUT I JS COULDN'T TELL. ANYWAY- a DAY. After me and him parted ways (I blocked him :3) I met Python in a ****** Drones hub, and Nyx joined me; we were all silly and goofy. And then I met Kim; he was probably the next guy I kind of fell for, but then fell out of it when I realized that he acts childish and says things w/o thinking, which—gosh, that was an ick. ANYWHO, then, oh this is gonna be- depressing YK PYTHON? YEAH. I kinda sorta fell in love /w him after Kim said "I saw what you two were doing by the ocean" in like- a teasing way. guess what? Nyx told me that they might be having feelings for Python, but they're unsure. SO. i immediately backdown, and teased them abt him despite liking the SAME GUY. ANYWHO. I decided to take a break bcz I genuinely didn't want to like Python even more, espeically when my best friend MIGHT like him. So, I go on like- a solid 11 day break, come back, play vrc with Nyx, and played theee-- spook-a- smth lobby where theres parkour and one person controls when the platform disappears. YEAH- UH- python didn't speak to me like- at all, and I realized "oh! cherry and kiliyo are togther, lunar and their friend are talking, jex nd sky are together, and nyx and python were- seemingly close. So- i took that as a que for me to leave bcz it made me feel- genuinely left out, and it sucked. sO. Then, i learned that python told nyx that he had feelings for them, and then they took a few days to decide, and then they got together, boom. they're bf and gf. YEAH. SUCKS- kinda depressing. MORAL OF THE STORY. DON'T FALL IN LOVE WITH MEN THAT ARE NICE TO YOU-- PLEASE.. Anywho, don't- fall in love with a boy, they suck (whoops) and just be you. I love you SO SO much, and hope for the best in your future, and my future. <333
