A letter from Dec 31, 2024

Dear FutureMe, As you look back at all of the issues you had to go through, all the mountains you had to climb, all the mud slides you had to pull yourself out of and wash yourself off and do it again, I would say that your one of the strongest women you have ever came across. Now that your life has slowed down, with many regrets and so many heart breaks just know that you became who you are today because of that. Know that its ok to forgive yourself for all the mistakes you have made in the past. Please forgive yourself so that you can have a peace of mind and a calming soul. Love yourself more each day and take care of yourself in all the ways you have failed to do so now. Eat right and sleep well. Dont worry about the lines on your face, it shows wisdom and courage from all that you had went through. Those lines show who and what we went through and let them be a reminder of the past. Yes , you didnt so well then but all that matters is how you have changed today. Bring a positive light to yourself and shine like the proud , independent woman your mom taught you to be. Above all love yourself and your family, everyday with all your heart. Know that God placed you all together for a reason and don’t ever let anything break that bond ever again. If your with a man make sure he knows your value. Make sure he is good to you and that you smile everyday instead of cry. You have done enough crying . Dont ever let him tell you your in charge of your own happiness and that its not him that makes you sad its yourself. If he is worth it then love him and treasure him with all you have. Dont be afraid to love him all the way, not everyone is out to hurt you, give him a chance. Above all, make sure you know in your heart your an amazing person despite all your wrong doings. You have the right to be happy and the right to make the correct decision even if they aren’t what others think you should do Love everything and everyone. Laugh laugh laugh so hard it hurts your stomach when your done and if your alone laugh even harder I love you Penny just remember that I’ll always be here to help you stand Your pastme
