It’s December 31, 2024—the very last day of this year. Right now, I’m lying in bed watching Gossip Girl for the first time, feeling calm and hopeful. But when you’re reading this, it’ll be December 31, 2025. A whole year will have passed, bringing new adventures, lessons, and memories.
A lot can happen in 365 days. I wonder how much closer you’ve gotten to becoming the person you’ve always dreamed of being. Have you traveled to exciting places or experienced something totally new?
By now, you’re in 11th grade—hopefully earning honors and feeling proud of your hard work. I hope you’ve stayed consistent with taking care of yourself, growing healthier, stronger, and more confident every day. Have you ticked off your 2025 goals and made your mood board a reality? I really hope so!
And maybe, just maybe, you’ve met someone special. Do you have a boyfriend now? If you do, I hope he’s kind, supportive, and makes you laugh. If not, don’t stress—everything happens in its own time, and you have so much ahead to look forward to.
As 2025 ends, take a moment to reflect on everything you’ve accomplished. Celebrate the small steps and the big victories, and be proud of how far you’ve come. As you step into 2026, I hope you’re dreaming even bigger, setting new goals, and staying true to yourself.
Wherever you are, I hope you’re smiling, feeling happy, and ready for the next adventure. Life is full of surprises, and I’m so excited for you to experience them all.
With love and hope,
Your Past Self
