A letter from Dec 31, 2024

Dear Future JL staff team, Hi! I'm writing this on 31.12.24. We made the kids write a letter to themselves so we figured we should do it too lol. We have literally just buried our time capsule boxes in the garden (don't forget to dig these up!) and then me and Fallon realised we didn't put a letter in ours, so here we are! Tonight me, Fallon and Bal are here with Elie, Summer and Chan. It's 8:19pm and I'm sat in the living room with Summer who is on a beanbag in the corner charging her phone! Elie is at the table picking at the buffet and Chan is in her room having some chill time. Fallon is outside "checking the gate" and Bal is upstairs on supervising duty (thanks Bal!). Not sure what else to write except that it's been a great year here! Our young people are gorgeous and amazing, the staff team is really coming together and we are currently a settled home! Who knows what it is like now but please remember that we do have lovely times and lovely kids no matter how hard it can get sometimes! Fallon is now picking at the buffet too and I will be going to pick at it when I've finished writing this! Elie is now next to me giggling to himself and having a great time! I'm using too many exclamation marks... Anyway, Summer is now staring at me through the window so I think it's time for me to attend to the children! I hope we all had a great 2025 and we can continue to grow in the right direction. Dig up the time capsules! Byeeeee, Louise x
