A letter from Dec 31, 2024

Dear FutureMe, I’m so proud of you. I’ve decided to keep saying it until you believe it, until it becomes second nature for you to hear it. This year wasn’t easy and I know there were times you wanted to give up but you didn’t, you kept going and you achieved everything you needed to. For 2025 I want our memo to be grace. I want you to allow not only yourself grace but others too. I want you to tap back into your empathy and compassion. For 2025 , I pray this year brings you the thing that you’ve been searching for, the thing that will bring you that one step closer to happiness. Most of all I know how much you desire love despite not wanting to admit it so I hope it finds you. I pray for the kind of love that is safe and caring but just enough. I pray for the kind of love you love reading about brought to life. Last of all I pray for the kind of love that feels just right and I know you’ll know what that is. Again I’m proud of you for getting through 2024 and already for 2025 continue doing things and being the kind of person that will make future me proud.
