A letter from Dec 31, 2024

Time Travelling — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Wow, this is becoming a thing. a tradition. Every NYE, I write a letter to myself for the next year. It's cute and wholesome. 2024 was amazing. you met so many new people in Dallas, you had sweetest worship experiences, you went to this podcast tour, you delivered love letters on behalf of God, you saw the most beautiful sunsets, you had an amazing year end review, you went on fun dates, you spoke life into dead people, and you laughed so much. God also ate you up in the secret place -- don't forget. what a year. 2025 -- sounds unreal to even say. we're here though. your word of the year was "evergreen." only God could give you that word. it was so sweet. your scriptures for the year were psalms 37, jeremiah 17:7-8, and john 15. you have to abide to bear fruit. you have to do life with Jesus to remain evergreen and bear the fruit of His Spirit. remember, being evergreen isn't about what you achieve. it's not about the relationship, the money, or the career success. it's ultimately about bearing His name and making Him known. it's about showing love, patience, kindness, joy, gentleness, peace, and kindness. those are all available to you at all times because He is near. i hope you brought Him everywhere you go. i hope you laughed with Him. i hope He taught you so much more about His word. i hope He was the desire of your heart. i hope you abided and trusted in Him. He took care of you when no one else did. He is trustworthy. He will never let you down. it's just so sweet to be writing this. i have no idea of the goodness of God on the other side of this letter. another year of His grace. it's going to be so sweet. praying this letter touches His throne and we did everything we saw Jesus doing. i can just feel the sweetness. He's up to something. mahogany, 2025 will be great and sweet. i'm so proud of you for being faithful to God. seek Him above all else. can't wait to see what "evergreen" means to God. i love you. a lot. i mean that for once. i love who you've become. you're so beautiful inside and out. take care of yourself. dress up. get massages. love on you so you can love on others so they can love on Jesus.
