A letter from Dec 31, 2024

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, It’s 4.42pm on 31 Dec 2024 and this is my 2023 message  I am sitting on the couch. Skyla chewing a twisty and Shawn is watching Netflix  I didn’t really achieve the 7 things I put down for 2023. Except one - getting Skyla. The best goal achieved.  So for 2024 I am going to be more realistic, each one of these requires work but hey small consistent steps daily wins! 1. Be fit consistently through the year out 2. Work life balance by prioritizing and planning daily efficiently  3. Have worked a lot from now on wealth. ie have REITS, understand structured notes Back to today 31 December 2024 I just got back from the beach visiting Taryn and Andrew. Im currently sitting on couch with Skyla by my feet and Shawn watching a car show on Netflix. When I look at what I set out for 2024, I didn’t achieve all of it 100% but it was a good year: 1 I was fit throughout the year but not consistent 2 work life balance not great but worked on it on the last couple of months of year 3 didn’t do as much as I wanted on wealth but did invest in two structured notes. I also stopped drinking alcohol and have great family relationships So for 2025 I want to improve on my goals for 2024 1 healthy lifestyle and being more active. Eating good, walking more, exercising. Feeling good 2 I am currently working at TWC and wonder where I’ll be when reading this at the end of 2025. My work life balance will be better and earning more… 3 investing half of inheritance in REITS, tranching and possibly upping my crypto game 4 have monthly money dates and get more intimate with my wealth And that is it. Everything else is perfect, in our little bubble in Cape Town
