itss yo Birthday, bro! It’s September 8, 2025 you’re 18 now, the last year of being a teenager. Crazy, right? I’m sitting here as 17-year old me, thinking about what life looks like for you now. Are you doing good? Are you happy??
Right now, life’s a mix of a lot of things. Let me catch you up. I’ve got Venice in my life, and man, I really love her. Like, really. I’ve changed so much because of her quit smoking, dropped bad habits, and I try to avoid anything that might hurt her feelings. But you know what? Sometimes it feels like I’m giving more than I’m getting back. I overthink a lot, especially late at night. There are times I even cry, wondering, Does she really love me back the way I love her? So, are you two still together? Did things work out? I hope so. But if they didn’t, its okaay atleast you did give your purest genuine and fullest love, no regrets broo . Whatever happens, I hope you learned something from all of it and that you’re stronger because of it.
Did you pass the SASE exam? Did you get into the course you really wanted? I know you were nervous about it, but I also know you wanted it so bad. I hope you’re doing something you enjoy now, something that makes you excited to wake up every day.
What about friends? Did you find new ones? I hope you did, and that they’re real ones who’ve got your back. You deserve people like that. And how’s the family? We didn’t really talk much, but I still care about them a lot. I hope they’re all okay, and I hope you’ve found ways to connect with them more.
Oh, and don’t forget the promises I made to us. I wanted to be happy this year, to enjoy my last teenage year to the fullest. I wanted to stay true to who I am and not turn into someone I wouldn’t even recognize. I really hope you’ve stuck to that.
If you’re feeling lost or things aren’t going the way you planned, that’s fine. Life’s messy, and it doesn’t always make sense, but you’ve made it this far. Look back and see how much you’ve gone through. You’re tougher than you think, and I know you’ll figure things out.
So, here’s a reminder: Be kind to yourself. Laugh more. Stress less. Don’t let failure stop you, and don’t let anyone make you feel like you’re not enough. You’ve got this, bro.
Take care, and don’t forget to celebrate your birthday with joy and laughter you deserve it. I’m proud of you, no matter what, again happy birthday future self wishing you good health and more birthdays to come.
From your 17-year old self
