A letter from Dec 27, 2024

Dear FutureMe, The date is Friday, December 27th & I have been in therapy for 3 months and I’m making immense progress. My self-esteem has shifted in the best way possible and it keep getting better, my views on my capabilities have shifted butttttt, we are STRUGGLING financially so I decided to make a choice. Stop talking about doing better, stop wishing to do better and just DO it. I decided to start saving $300 every quarter and increase it if the opportunity presents itself. That is only $50 put away from each paycheck. That is very much doable. And I will not waver from it. My next goal is to finish my modules before the New Year and then create my LinkedIn account and begin networking. I am nervous as HECK but nothing I can’t prepare and pray for. Even in the waiting, everything is working out in my greater good. Amen. Also, while I am networking and getting my media presence up I’ll be looking at job postings and getting familiar with what it is they need in a project manager. I’ll also be looking at YouTube videos to prepare for interviewing. All of these steps will prepare me for the end of quarter two, where I will have secured a position as a project manager making no less than $70,000/yr after taxes with medical, dental & therapy benefits that will allow me to roll over my 401k. This job will also have a healthy work/life balance and will support my love of traveling. My car note is currently $356 and my car insurance is $487. By the time you read this, they both will be significantly lower. Amen. I will continue having a healthy dating life. With myself and with Alesia. I see us continuing to get to know each other in a healthy way. I decided to stay at this apartment. I mean my rent is only $1177/month & that’s with utilities. I won’t run from a blessing! 😂 when the time is right I’ll be able to get into a nicer apartment but I’m extremely grateful for this one. Thank you God! I look forward to hearing about how things have changed for the better. We turn 30 in 6 months! Girl! Happy early birthday. I love you! Remember don’t wish for it, work for it!
