A letter from Dec 24, 2024

Dear FutureMe, Writing this down on December 24, 2024. You’re the Vivian from 2025, older, wiser and I hope with ALL my heart, healthier. This is never easy to write and express. You know where am I right now? Im lying in my parent’s couch, in the living room, in your hometown Puerto Cortes. This year has been a roller coaster with all the letters. Never thought I’d be finishing this 2024 like this. I mean, at the beginning of this year I was still working in copeco, had a horrible life and health balance, and I was at the worst shape of my life. Now, I’m looking back and I can tell you: YOU DID AMAZING THIS YEAR 2024. I quit copeco, got a remote job with A&A, left that job to pursue my dreams in the US, then I was accepted at my dream university!! UIUC!! And now I’m ending the year just knowing that good things happen but they must find you fighting, working, thriving and hustling. That’s the way to create opportunities. Keep pushing Vivian, but never ever forget to enjoy your journey.
