A letter that probably makes you cry for a moment, from December 23rd,2024

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, Hello again! ^__^ It’s me (you) writing on December 23rd, just a day before your midterm in that ****** numerical algebra class. What a year it’s been, Shadmehr. What a year... You’ve grown a hundred times over in the past twelve months, and I am so incredibly proud of you! I know you’re carrying a heavy load—facing daily struggles and pushing yourself through endless challenges. The headaches, insomnia, late nights staying up by coffee—I see it all, and I appreciate the strength it takes to keep going. This year has been full of tears. I know no one saw the moments you cried until there were no more tears left to shed. I know how bad your heart was aching and I know how deeply disappointed you felt, questioning everything about your life and existence. But even in the depths of that darkness, you found yourself—and that is what makes you, you. Thanks to your lovely friends who listened to all your rants. Never forget how much they mean to you, and always cherish those beautiful connections. Message them right now and send them a big love and support! this is an order. I don’t know what you’re doing right now or where life has taken you. But no matter where you are and what you’re doing, remember this: I love you, from the deepest part of my heart. Have you chased your dreams lately? Or even dared to dream new ones? I hope so. Life may be chaotic and uncertain, but don’t let that stop you from reaching for the stars. You deserve a life that excites and fulfills you, no matter how far away it might seem right now. All these hardships I’m enduring today—they’re just meant to build a better and brighter life for you. So, please don’t let it all go to waste. Keep doing your best. I hope you’ve found more joy this year, even in the smallest things—a quiet sunrise, a heartfelt laugh with a friend, a song that makes you feel alive. Never stop looking for those moments. They’re the little gifts that remind us why we keep going. Finally, I can’t wait to see where you’ve gone and what you’ve become. I believe in you with every part of my being, just like I always have. Keep shining, even when it feels like the light is gone. You are the light, the light of my life. Above all, love yourself, always. No matter what. With endless love and faith, Shadmehr
