A letter from Dec 22, 2024

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Bogdan, It’s been an entire year since I wrote this letter, and I can’t help but wonder how much you’ve grown. Right now, I’m focusing on improving my programming skills, especially in C++ and C. I’m also playing the piano and learning to play the guitar in my spare time. I hope you’ve made real progress with your music—maybe you can play your favorite songs smoothly by now. Life is busy at the moment. I’m juggling coding projects, learning new techniques, and also trying to balance my love for video games with everything else. I’d like to think you’ve found an even better way to organize your time. Perhaps you’ve finished a few coding courses or contributed to an open-source project. Maybe you’ve even built a small game yourself—how cool would that be? One of my biggest goals is to become more confident when speaking English. Right now, I can handle basic conversations, but I sometimes freeze when I have to talk to native speakers. By the time you read this, I’m hoping you’re a lot more comfortable communicating in English. Maybe you’ve made some international friends or even traveled somewhere you could practice your speaking skills. Also, don’t forget about your physical and mental health. Remember to take breaks, eat well, and step away from your computer or guitar every now and then. I know you love learning new things, but you need to recharge, too. If you’ve checked off the goals I set for myself, that’s amazing. If you’re still working on them, that’s fine, too. The most important thing is that you keep going and don’t give up. You’ve got this! I can’t wait to look back on this letter and see just how far you’ve come. Until then, stay curious, stay dedicated, and remember to enjoy the journey. Sincerely, Bogdan from 2024
