A letter from Dec 22, 2024

Dear FutureMe, Hi, I am currently 22 years old, turning 23 in a few months, and I’m feeling heartbroken right now Because of the betrayal my girlfriend did to me, I am deeply hurt right now. I decided to end what we had and cut off all ties with her. As the year comes to an end, it feels like my life is starting all over again. I don’t have a job, I stopped studying, my girlfriend and I broke up, I no longer have anyone supporting me, I’m back living with my mom, and my savings are all gone. It hurts so much, especially since the New Year is just around the corner, and everything seems to be falling apart. I hope that, as time passes, you’ll rise again. Let this letter serve as a reminder to your future self that, wherever you are and whatever your life’s status may be, I hope you’ve come a long way. I hope you’re no longer the irresponsible Glena you used to be. I hope you’ve proven something to yourself and achieved what you’ve always wanted.
