A letter from Dec 19, 2024

Dear FutureMe, Right now, I'm laying on the couch in the living room, frustrated with Aunt Cat because she can't decide whether to get me a phone or not due to her hesitations about a three-year plan. Today was the last day of school before Christmas break. Hopefully, you will receive this letter on December 17th next year and have your life somewhat figured out. I hope that you have finally started standing up for yourself and not letting others walk over you. I wish for you to be happy with the life you have and that you are living your best life. I hope you’re pursuing your passions and doing things that make you genuinely happy. Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you. Take care of your mental and physical health, and never stop learning and growing. If you somehow end up in a relationship, remember your morals and never let a man disrespect you; if they do, cut them off. I hope you keep these friends: Desi, Taylor, Faye, Sophie, Kaylee, Samara, and Celayah. Love, younger me.
