A letter from Dec 16, 2024

Dear Emily, hi. it's me from a year ago. how are you? Still alive? still listening to Scott Street like I am right now? oh you'll have your new wrapped by now. this year I had 107000 odd minutes try to bear that huh. and you'll be a junior. your last real year of high school, right? senior year doesn't count. too many lasts. junior year is the last real year of school in high school. and I bet you've finished off sophomore year and have begun junior year still full of this same sadness we've carried together for years now. anyway. what music do you listen to? of course we still love Billie. when you get this we'll have had Billie for six almost seven years. thats like. longer than any other friendship I've ever had. anyway. I also love finneas, adrienne lenker, phoebe Bridgers, Lindsay liebro, laufey, boygenius, tv girl, bon Iver and ofc Lana del Rey. who else have you picked up? Pinterest check! right now we have saved 14.6k pins and my bio changes all the time cause I think it's funny but right now it says "no really I am quite whismsy." I hope I get more Billie merch for Xmas I love billie eilish fun fact I bet you didn't know that one! right now it is in fact 11:16 pm and I am neither studying for my algebra II test nor my honors bio test both of which are tomorrow and heavily weighted upon my semester grade. uh oh well I fear I was never checked in to start this school year. last year near ****** me I fear. I have yet to decide whether or not I will audition for a part in the musical this year (music man). I also have yet to decide if I will once more grace the cross country team with my presence at the back of the pack. my best friends right now are Alaina, Sadie, and Lilly. they had better not go anywhere and if there is a situation like freshman year January I am leaving earth. I have to go study or i'm cooked so bye ily
