Dear FutureMe,
8th grade was for sure up and down. I'm most proud of the self growth that i've experienced from 7th to 8th. We're doing better and i'm proud of that. We have great friends who made us laugh and smile. I'm also most proud of the toxic people that i cut off. Even though it was hard, i had my parents and friends to cheer me up. I remember smiling with my friends when we were eating lunch or laughing at random tiktoks. I'm doing great, and i'm awesome. (As everyone knows). Don't be ashamed of who you are. don't listen to what people say about your body or your culture or your *********. yes, i'm proud to be lesbian and yes im proud to be Guyanese. and if someone can't accept that about me, then you have to go. my body is beautiful and so am i. i hope high school treats me better.
